Simple but Oh So Powerful….Whatever it takes is exactly what I told mysefl upon coming into to rehab after a 43 year run and suffering 6 siezures and 2 unsuccessful suicide attempts in the 12 prior to coming in. As if that was not enough, I had a stroke sitting at the directors desk while having my “intake interview”. I told myself that whatever it takes to rid myself of these “animalistic” tendoncies I was willing to do. I feel, as you do, that this is the mind set it takes to successfully recover from addiction/alcolholism and regain our rightful place in society……One Day At A Time is absolutely the way and Whatever it takes is the way to get there!!!!

"Whatever it takes." Those are powerful words which can be used as mantra to avoid getting addicted. But the bottom line is it all boils down on our self determination and self discipline.

Addiction is a progressive disease. It's never easy to quit. But if you've already suffered negative consequences and don't want them to get worse, there's never a better time to quit than now.

Alcoholism often leads to criminal behavior. Loved ones of alcoholics often begin to cover up for the alcoholic, thus enabling them to continue. It is an ugly, vicious cycle, and one that the alcohol rehabilitation services should end.

"I will do whatever it takes, to not use drugs or alcohol” i agree with this statement. Life is too short and so many things to evolve our life in this world. Let us not fool our self with these vices. this is not a way of escaping problem as well rather digging you more to your problem
