I'd like to add something to the Practice Non-Judgement paragraph. While going through recovery, practice being non-judgmental with yourself, too. It's easy enough to beat up on yourself when a person isn't fight an addictive behavior, but it can be extremely difficult when you are fighting a behavorial issue. Be kind to yourself and give yourself the benefit of the doubt.

We are all blessed with spirituality it’s just that we see it in different perspective in our life. Sometimes at work I complain so much of the many things to do but just for a moment I realized that I may be just be lucky to have a job than those who are endlessly looking and searching for a job but can’t find one. We should be thankful of the blessing each day especially our jobs because it is our jobs that we can eat 3 times a day and send our children to better school. Spirituality is something we can hang on when things just don’t go the way things we want it to be.

Spirituality is an interesting thing. Of course everyone agrees that being physically and mentally healthy is important. But being spiritually healthy is just as important, in my opinion. Having strong convictions, whether you're agnostic, aethiest, or part of an organized religion is important to your well-being. I personally find that elements of faith are beneficial to my overall wellbeing... even elements that are "silly"... it's just nice to have a dedicate practice or ritual. It's stabilizing.

I have found myself a few times judging certain things other people do, and thinking to myself that it's just not the right thing to do and that they are wrong. I have made an effort though to put myself in the other person's shoes and try to see it from their perspective. And you know what ? By doing that I really did see a totally different side of the situation.

Very good tips here. Thanks so much for writing this !
