When we are avid gamblers and frequent visitors of our local casinos, we do not like to read of the negative aspects that causes trouble for many. The fact is gambling is addictive and if you fall into any of the categories describe you must take stock before it takes over your life. Casinos are fun venues and should be treated as entertainment.

It's when you become reliant on winning that gambling becomes a problem. If you play to have fun, throw away a few bucks without worrying about your bills, then there is no issue with it. But it's when you believe you can strike it gold, your bills aren't getting paid, and your becoming reliant on the gambling experience, thrill and winning, this is when it becomes a serious problem.

But like everything in life, anything in moderation is fine. We all have our vices, some of us can control them better than others.

Was there always addictions? I think so. The addiction to alcohol, gambling and shopping addiction are a reflection of society. Man can not actually handle money. We have not learned in evolutionary history. Nevertheless, many people play for fun, systematic and looking for a nice pastime. We must not throw everything into a pot. The people who are compulsive gamblers, do not you push away. In Germany, for example there are now very strict guidelines to enter a real casino. It does not protect all people but just a few. The relatives of problem gamblers I am sorry. You must be very suffer.

Great discussion. I think many is on this side, I suggest that we should play moderately and never be too addicted. I am a huge player but I know my limitations. There is nothing wrong with playing casino games just as long as you know how to control yourself.

I was looking for ways to earn money and thought I stumbled upon a secret goldmine tactic that I can exploit. Turns out every gambler and casino knows about this, which is doubling your bet everytime so you will at least earn something after each time you lose.

Turns out the casino always has the edge.

Great post! I think many people have acquired gambling problems, and in many areas where casinos begin to open one after another, it makes things even more difficult for the locals in that area.

To be honest, this is a problem that is not treated as often as it should.
